Lewis will oversee the Dirtbags strength and conditioning program and assist in all other areas of the baseball program.
Coach Lewis is a Certified Sports Performance Coach by USA Weightlifting.
The Richmond, Virginia native played football, basketball and baseball at Midlothian High School. He was an All-District, All-Metro and All-Region tight-end at Midlothian.
Lewis moved on to play football at Virginia Tech under legendary coach Frank Beamer. He was a member of 1999 Big East championship team. He also played Florida State in the 1999-2000 Sugar Bowl for BCS Championship. That team finished season ranked #2 in country.
At VA Tech he also played in the Gator Bowl in 1997-1998, the Music City Bowl in 1998-1999 and the Gator Bowl 2000-2001.
Lewis currently coaches football and baseball at Forsyth Country Day School. He wrote and directs the summer strength and conditioning program for FCDS football program.
