The New Bern, NC native played for Gary Smith at New Bern high school. He then received his degree in Management of Parks and Recreational Facilities in 2008 from East Carolina University.

Coach Daly began his coaching career at South Cenral in 2004 where he became the head junior varsity coach from 2006-2008. Daly is currently a varsity assistant at South Central under Robert “Peanut” Langston.

Daly resides in Greenville, NC with his wife Meagan.
