Tyler Hanover

“Our time with the Dirtbags has been full of many wonderful adventures and joys. I’ll start with the tryout. It was at Elon University, and Tyler had this head full of curly hair stuffed under a baseball cap, he was quite the sight. You have to know my son, he’s 5-foot nothing and a buck thirty at best at the time. I’m sitting around a few parents and things start up. Out on the field are the likes of Kyle Seager, Dustin Ackley, Ryan Morris, Addison Johnson, Tim Smalling, and that beast Kyle Roller. Well Tyler makes a few nice plays and catches the eye of Andy Partin and the other coaches, and they ask him back the next day. Well on the ride back home Tyler says he needs to get a hair cut for tomorrow. AP already making an impression on the boy. So he does and the next day everyone wonders what happened to the kid with the hair. Well AP and the coaching staff of the Dirtbags decide to give Tyler a shot and as they say the rest is history.

I have personally seen Andy pick up the phone and call a MLB cross-checker for a player. I’ve sat in the stands watching Graham Stoneburner light up a Stalker turn around and see Coach Mike Fox from U.N.C. there.

I’ll always remember the uniforms AP would breakout and the excitement of all the players as they received them. I’ll always be grateful for Andy making a boy’s childhood dream come true. I remember in 1997 sitting with an 8 year old watching L.S.U. win it’s 4th College World Series, and that boy saying I’m going to play for them one day. Well 11 years later that dream has come true. I can assure you that if not for Coach Andy Partin that would not have happened, for that boy is my son and Coach Partin made that call to L.S.U. to have them come watch him play and now he is living that dream.

But the thing that I as a parent most treasure about AP and the Dirtbags is the way that he has taught all the great players of the Dirtbags to play the game the right way, play to win, and enjoy the moment your in. Andy Partin is one of a kind and has the heart of a giant. May you continue to help the youth of our society. Thanks a million!”
- Eric Hanover, Father of Captain and #3 Tyler Hanover, Louisiana State U.

Garrison Lassiter

“Playing for the Dirtbags, a first class organization, was not only a great experience and gave me the opportunity to play in front of college coaches and professional scouts, it pushed me to another level as a baseball player and person. The relationships you build on this team as well as playing for a highly recognized organization can’t be beat. Thanks for everything AP!”
- Garrison Lassiter, 27th RD Draft Pick of Yankees

Levi Michael

“Thank you so much for all the great memories and allowing the Michael Family to be part of such a positive influence on young men and their journey through the baseball years. Levi has learned from and enjoyed meeting all the great guys that he has had the honor to play with and against. We as parents have met so many nice people and will cherish the memories for a life time. Andy, thank you from the bottom of our hearts and all the other great coaches and especially your wife and kids. I know this takes many hours away from home and your family life but you are appreciated. The Dirtbags team and Impact Baseball is a great opportunity for these young men and well run by you and your staff. Thanks a million!”
- Parents of Captain Levi Michael, U. of North Carolina

Ryan Morris

“Impact Baseball and the Dirtbags gave me more opportunities than any other program out there has to offer. It is a top-notch program run by first class people starting at the top with Andy Partin. Not only did they give me a chance to play with the best players, but it put me in the best position to get my name out there and put me in front of a lot of college coaches and professional scouts. The “impact” Impact Baseball and the Dirtbags has made on my baseball career and my life is more than I could ever ask for. They got me the exposure I needed and made me a better player in every aspect of the game. Thank you Andy for helping me jump start my career! You always have my support!
- Ryan Morris, 4th RD Draft Pick of Indians

David Mailman

“I cannot thank Andy and the Dirtbags enough for everything they have helped me accomplish. Andy is a great guy who is not only out there to win every game but also help each of his players successfully move on to the next level. The Dirtbags can and will go toe to toe with any other program in the country and there is no doubt the Dirtbags will get their national championship ring very soon.”
- David Mailman, 7th RD Draft Pick of Red Sox

Quincy Latimore

“Andy is a great man who will do all he can to help his players. He simply wants the best for everybody, and he will go out of his way to make sure that happens. I’m proud to say I played for Andy Partin and the Dirtbags. Thanks for everything AP.”
