How has the 2018 season started off for Providence Grove?

We are 2-0 and our pitching staff is lights out right now and we are getting a lot of crucial hits.

What’s one area of your game you have improved since last year?

I worked on my overall strength and approach to baseball as a whole.

What’s your approach at the plate?

Load early and look for a very hittable pitch early in the count.

What are you looking forward to most about the 2018 Dirtbag summer/fall season?

I’m looking forward to constantly playing and whooping tail on the regular basis.

Talk about the friendships you have made playing with the Dirtbags?

I have met some guys and played with guys that I’d do anything for and they would do the same for me. It’s like a brotherhood.

Who’s the best player you have played with while playing with the Dirtbags?

Nolan Mclean (2020, Uncommitted). That kid is just a freak!

What’s your most memorable Dirtbag game?

In the PG World Series we played against a team that was throwing some pretty solid guys and it was low scoring and we were down by 1 and in the bottom of the 6th I hit a line drive to left tying the game and we ended up winning. EVERYONE played a part that game

What does Dirtbag Baseball mean to you?

It means you are the best players in the park no matter where you go and you got to play like it and represent by winning, because winning is the standard for Dirtbags!

What piece of advice would you have for future Dirtbags?

When you get your chance, take advantage of it.

If Drew Needham had one afternoon outside of baseball, what would you do?

Hunting or Fishing..
