1. Brickhouse Bombs propel Pirates to sweep
Spencer Brickhouse went 3-4 with 2 HR’s and 5 RBI’s in Game 2 of a doubleheader that helped
ECU complete the sweep of UConn.
2. Koehler Sparks Catamounts to Win
Matt Koehler went 1-2 with a triple and 2 RBI’s Sunday in helping Western Carolina to a victory
over Furman.
3. Benton Picks up 4 th Win For ECU
Trey Benton picked up his 4 th win of the season in relief on Sunday in game 1 of the
doubleheader. Benton is now second on the team in wins.
4. Weatherly Dominates in Relief for Clemson
Sam Weatherly worked 2.1 innings of relief for the Tigers on Sunday and gave up 0 Hits and 0
Runs while striking out 3. He is now 2-0 with 32 K’s in 20 innings of work out of the pen.
5. Mayhue and Harrill Named MVP’s for Crest
CJ Mayhue (2019 ECU Commit) was named tournament MVP while Lawson Harrill (2019
Campbell Commit) was named Offensive MVP this past week during spring break.
6. Watson and Stallings Lead Wake Forest
Khalil Watson and Hogan Stalling were named to the All Tournament team this past week in the
32 nd BMT
7. Zayicek Homers for Seahawks
Riley Zayicek hit his 3 rd HR of the season for UNCW he went 1-3 on the day with 1 R and 1 RBI.
8. Myers Stays hot for Padres
Wil Myers is off to a hot start for San Diego. He is hitting .303 with 5 HR’s 11 RBI’s, 10 R’s, and 2
SB’s. The Padres are in 2 nd place in the NL West currently.
