Eric Leary Named Team Director

Dirtbags Baseball owner Andy Partin has announced that Eric Leary has been named Team Director of the Dirtbags Baseball program.

“I’m pleased to introduce Eric Leary as our Team Director,” stated Dirtbags owner and founder Andy Partin. “Eric is a tremendous person with outstanding leadership and communication skills. He will help pilot our teams and offer a new and inspiring element of direction. Eric has been involved with the Dirtbags from the beginning and he truly understands the core values and the vision of our program and he will help deliver them efficiently to our staff. Our team is excited to work along-side Eric and we look forward to benefiting from all he has to bring to the program.”

Eric Leary has over 20 years of coaching experience at the high school level in baseball and football as well as being an assistant coach at Barton College from 1992-1994.

Leary has been published in the American Baseball Coaches Association Coaching Digest. He is currently an associate scout with the New York Mets and he was an associate scout with the Major League Scouting Bureau from 2004-2016.

The Elizabeth City, NC native is married to Tracy, and father to daughter Dailey Rae and son Jack.
