8 Week Youth Training Program

Class Features:

– Hitting Program: We will teach proper hitting fundamentals, body movements and use weighted bats to increase hard contact and power.
– Arm Care/Arm Strength Program: We will teach proper throwing fundamentals and build strong, healthy arms through proper body movements, resistance bands, and safe strengthening exercises.
– Strength & Speed Program: We will build a strong base of physical strength and speed for each athlete through basic fundamental movements (jumping, squatting, rowing, rotating, etc.)
– Data/Analytics: We will test each athletes baseline strength, exit velocity, arm strength, etc at week 1, week 4 and week 8 using specialized equipment.
– Wednesdays & Thursdays: Starting April 3- Ending May 23
– Time: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
– Location: Dirtbags Baseball Training Center (3376 South Church St, Burlington)
– Instructors: Former MLB players, college players and certified strength and conditioning coaches
– Registration: $297
– Each class is open to any 9-12 year old wanting to develop and get ahead of their competition.

Ryan Falcon
Falcon All-State pick in North Carolina at Northern Durham high school. The southpaw made an immediate impact at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro where he is still in the top five in several pitching categories including ERA and strikeouts. Falcon was a Cape Cod League All-Star and drafted by the Texas Rangers in 2007 in the 29th round. He was tabbed a Northwest League All-Star, and pitched through to AA with the Rangers. In the summer of 2011, Falcon worked as the Assistant Coach with the Edinburg Roadrunners of the Independent Professional North American League in Edinburg, TX.

Logan Koch
Koch was the starting catcher on the 2013 State Champion squad at South Mecklenburg high school. He went on to sign a scholarship to the University of South Carolina where he played for 2 years and started 36 games behind the plate for the Gamecocks and was on the SEC Academic Honor Roll. Koch transferred to Francis Marion University where he starred for the Patriots for two seasons and was a 2-year Captain. In 2015 Koch was named to the New England Collegiate (Summer) Baseball League All-Star Game.
