Seth Simmons is offering player evaluations on Mondays for $20. Evaluations differ from a lesson in that, the evaluation is identifying the immediate aspects of an athlete’s game that need to develop in order for the player to have the best opportunity to impress college coaches and scouts. Evaluations also identify the aspects of the athletes game that are going to take a more long term approach. During the evaluation, we will assess arm strength, mechanics, velocity, off speed, and overall pitch ability. We will do that by using slow motion video and Rapsodo to get a starting point on tracking the progression in the future. A lesson format we would start to work on the things we assessed during an evaluation or we can work on it through a throwing program.
