What parts of your game did you work on this offseason?
This off-season I worked on the offensive part of my game specifically the mechanics of my swing and staying balanced at the plate.
For those that haven’t seen you play describe your game?
I would describe myself as a commander of the field from a catching stand point. Also, a catcher who works very hard and likes to throw behind runners.
How has your high school season started at Providence?
My high school season at Providence has started off well with lots of wins, while still playing against good teams.
Playing for the Dirtbags last summer/fall, how did it help you become a better player?
It helped me to become a better player because I was playing against good competition and also the coaches did a good job of helping me understand what parts of the game I needed to work on.
You played under Brendan Dougherty (Dirtbags Director SC), how has he helped you develop your game?
He has helped me by telling me about what parts of my game that I need to work on.
When you think of Dirtbags Baseball, what comes to mind?
I think of a team who always plays hard and runs on and off the field.
What’s one piece of advice you would give future Dirtbags?
One piece of advice that I would give a future Dirtbag is that you should always play your hardest and take no pitches off because someone is always watching.
What did you learn about the Dirtbags that you didn’t know last year?
I learned that the Dirtbags organization does a good job of developing their players and giving them an opportunity to be seen by college coaches to get to the next level.
What are you looking forward to most about the summer season with the Dirtbags?
For the upcoming summer season with the Dirtbags I am most looking forward to making a good run in the WWBA Perfect Game tournament.
