JAKE MACHADO
Jake Machado is from Waxhaw, NC; where he attended and played at Marvin Ridge High School as a 3-year starting catcher during his high school career. Following his career at Marvin Ridge, he attended and played at Belmont Abbey College for the 2019-2020 season. After one year at Belmont Abbey, he decided to transfer to Clemson University and worked with the baseball team as a manager/bullpen catcher.
At Clemson, he was a member of the 2023 ACC tournament champion team as well as the #4 overall seed in the NCAA tournament. Following graduating from Clemson in 2023 with a degree in business management and minor in sports communications, he decided to attend Mississippi State University start his journey into collegiate coaching.
At Mississippi State, he's currently a graduate manager and assist in multiple roles such as scouting and working with catchers. He's also working on achieving his masters in Workforce Education Leadership here at State as well.
